Beautiful soft portrait.

Looks a little green too me though.

Nice shot

Can't really tell If it's mf or 35mm though. I like The DoF here and The contrast and collies look great. Wish we could see more of the details In a larger version. 800px is not doing your work justice

Pretty cool shot and a good experiment.

I think it would have been a more intetsting photo If we could see more of The face of The model. It seems to focus on The jeans and feet.

Maybe have The model come out of the light.

Cheers
Jens

Nice portrait.

I like the hard light and your studio setting (chair and background).

Great shot!

Great shot Linda,

Really like the pov you chose.

I'm curious, what software do you use for HDR?

Cheers,
Jens

Hi Catherine,

You should feather your selection before making the background black. That way you will get a smoother edge around the coffee cup. Feathering in Photoshop can be done by right clicking your selection with the marquee tool active and selecting feather from the contextual menu.
Don't know about other editing software but I would assume that most if not all would have this feature.

Other than that, it does look tasty and I sure could you a cup (pot) of coffee right now.

Great shot Miles,

From the thumbnail I thought it was underexposed quite a bit but seeing it large here I think the light is beautiful.

There are many things one could suggest on the lighting, like hair light or maybe some back light from the left of camera, but all those suggestions would change the image into something else.

I like this shot a lot.

Cheers,
Jens

great shot. I like the humor of it.

Light is good here I think. I don't see any burned hightlights on the face, only in the background which expect is on purpose.

Great shot!

Great portrait. Very sensual.

Good light although a little hot on the right side of her face.

I like the catchlight which makes the eyes more intense. Catchlights always help when shooting people with dark eyes I think.

Great shot!

Nice shot.

Great light.

Only thing that bothers me a little are the scratches and dust on the TV. I think you should have fixed that in PP.

Cheers,
Jens
