Wow. I had no idea. A superb capture - such intricate, close-up detail, an outstanding macro shot. Love it.
Cool work! I like. Very moody and atmospheric, that morning fog creates some exceptional eerie effecs.
Cool perspective on this! Didn't know you were in Auckland?
Nice balance of exposure.
Moody indeed! Love the long exposure image, great use of vignetting effect in the dark shadows around the edges of the image, drawing the eye up towards a compelling area of light in the upper-right third of the frame.
Strong clarity and good sharp detail in this capture, with exposure absolutely spot-on, not easy to achieve with white plumage.
A great example of a technique used to excellent effect - a bright eyecatching image with strong colour and composition elements that would be at home in any coffee table book!
... wow! A terrific sense of scale in this shot, the massive rocks and huge volume of water in the background, the boat looks so vulnerable.
Nicely composed, good placement of the boat as subject.
Hehe ... a very out-of-the-box contribution to the theme, unexpected and eyecatching.
Beautifully captured light - and a terrific sense of depth and distance in this shot, very eyecatching!
Just noting the green trim at the bottom of the pic, it looks like it was cropped from a bordered version?
Nice clear well-balanced image, building photography is simply beyond me, I can never get it right. This gives a good sense of the location and I almost imagine being able to hear the footsteps and voices.
Perhaps it could have been a little more tightly cropped, perhaps just to the left of the vintage car (or cart?) behind the guy in the blue shirt?
