HI TL Members!!

This is another pic taken at Punggol Beach. Lovely place, you cant really find beaches with lovely rocks lying around in Singapore except for this beach which was also a World War 2 site.

I edited the pic in PS during my free time at work. If you are wondering why the pic looks crumple is because I actually crumpled a paper and scan the paper, i then place it above the original pic layer and merge it down using the multiply blending mode. i then used the gradient tool to darken the edges of the pic and this is the final outcome.

Hope you likeit. Thanks.

I love the crumpled paper effect on the picture. Great shot as well though... it really does look like 'freedom'. The only thing that I could probably critique on, would be the darkness of the picture... I wouldn't have darken it that much. But still it looks great :D

Very cool indeed! I love it - the effect is so creative.

I actually love the base image too, the pose, the windblown dress, and the ocean setting really do give the feeling of freedom.

Nice work!

Hi, Firdaus!

The composition of the original picture is great and I'd like to see it without the crumpled paper effect, which I find distracting.
Thanks for sharing

Why didn't you just use the crumpled paper brush in photoshop?
Just Joking- ;) Interesting and creative method to get this effect. Thanks for sharing-- I'll keep in my bag of tricks
