|The QE2 came to Liverpool yesterday for the last time thousands of people came to see her. this shot taken from Woodside ferry terminal on the far side of the Mersey. This is my first ever atempt at a panarama consisting of more than 1 shot....this image has 4 then joined using Canon software. Let me know what you think please coz I have a lot to learn in this area....cheers|

You must have spent a fair bit of time getting these shots... your last more humourous one from behind the Crowne Plaza and this excellent POV from across the river (was this from Seacombe or Woodside?)
I'm afraid I couldn't get the time off work, so was confined to the evening, and I'm glad that you managed to take advantage of the brief spell of good sky that we had and were able to get across the river to see it in context.
Well done for this shot. I like your panoramic format, which shows off the waterfront and also shows how close the QE2 got to the Cunard Building.
As I was writing you have added your note... Your use of software to stitch 4 shots has worked very well. I had to tinker around with PSP8 for mine... took ages!
Very best regards,
Nice work, you have stitched these shots well, I like the little fishing boat running alongside the QE2 and I also like the way you have made a panaramic view and not just the usual shot of the ship.

great panoramic image nice pp and comp
poss little more contrast and darken but thats just a matter of preference
Always a pleasure for me to see a ship (^_^). Cool POV and panoramic view. The skyline of Liverpoool, looks more likae an North American major city now.
I think here, like Tim , it would be better although to reduce a bit the overall luminosity with PP, as it seems to me a bit overexposed ( mainly the ship itself ). Great stitching job by the way !
