With my daughter standing still and my son in motion, I took this shot because of the reflections against the ice, the colors of the skyline etc.

Niagara Falls is a magical place for me! My husband proposed to me there September 2005 on the observation deck on the American side. Then my kids and husband and I were there this past Christmas and I'm SO glad it all was so wonderful, although miserably cold for us sissy Texans! Now come down to Houston when the temp is 109 and see how ya like it! HA!

Blue is my favorite color and so this pic appeals to me because of that!

Another stunning night shot.
Those lights were wonderful and you did a far better job capturing them than I did
Lovely composition

did u take this shot without a tripod linda? :)
thats a strange sense of movement in the image...maybe from the camera shake :P

good lights, i find that tree in the frame very interesting against the lights, a close shot of the tree's silhouette with the lights in the background could also work for this

there's also the shadow on the ground, that can also be used as an anchor for the shot :)

Hello Linda

I can fully understand why this place is so special to you. What a wonderfully romantic memory :-)

Lovely capture here, nice tones and lighting with the blurred areas showing the movements. Blue is also my favourite colour

TFS regards Helen

ciao Linda..

Hello Linda
it looks so darn cold.. I find it funny Shelby is waiting while Andy seems to have had enough fresh/cold air and heading to the car!
Keep warm! Oh that's right you are!

Hi Linda,

You have nicely captured a nocturnal mood in this frame. Movement of people is interesting to watch and the colorful atmosphere too. A wonderful image my friend, well done.
