My ten month old domestic mediumhair kitten, Zoe, got kinda bored of a recent photo session where I was trying to take a crisp macro of her green eyes. I snapped off this giant yawn of hers - the mouth is gaping a full three inches across.

Note the spurs on the tongue.. she loves licking my hand for some bizarre reason and after about five minutes of it my finger, wrist or whatever is somewhat sore. Now I see why!

ISO200, shadows reduced, saturation slightly increased, NeatImaged.

Hey Dean, this is great. You have captured Zoe's mouth so clearly, it is an excellent shot. I'm intrigued with the ruts in the roof of her mouth. Well done!

I think this is a spectacular close-up of your cats mouth, It reminds me of the Alien movies in that the upper front teeth ressemble the jaw that protruded from all the aliens (Or maybe its just me ;)
