I was never at a loss for smiles when we had our beagle. He and long-legged Emma were fast friends and tangled themselves together both in play and in repose.

This shot was hand-held in natural light. There was a window to the left of the chair. I cropped it a bit and added a frame in Irfanview, but other than that it's pretty much right as it came from the camera.

Now I have to look, how many dogs are here and how they are in a puzzle....
What a funny and very, very lazy shot, Kimberly, nice, funny and well seen and the natural light is excellent !

Nice shot in B&w. They seems to be very happy!

Well, Hello! Great to see Emma and you again! I love this adorable photo. I can tell they were fast friends. Thanks for my smile for the day.... :O)

Wow, Kimberley, as always, wonderful shot! I've already posted to my favs' collection. Absolutely fabulous, the b&w works very well. Wonderful composition, the mass of the dogs, and the patterns on them together creates a superb composition. Thanks for sharing it.
Have a nice day,

Hi Kim! I remember that first shot that I discovered long ago from you with his photo you sold to a vet network of your three dogs sleeping together and intermingling with each other... I also have a beagle and such a photo cannot pass unnoticed for me;-))

Les chiens sont vraiments marrants parfois. Beau jeu de lignes et bonne composition. Super!

I like this, this is great, what a capture.
Well done

They're very cute tangled up like this... cosy & warm. Excellent capture with a nice DoF, and lots of details. Good choice too for B&W Kimberley. Well done, TFS.

Quel beau tableau de chasse ... double prise.

Life is painful, when you look at this you think, hey why am I working so hard when I could be so happy in these draps ?

Nice picture! :-) The only problem is now that I've showed this picture to my wife, she's bugging me to get 2 dogs... NO WAY ! I have 2 cats and one turtle it's enough!!! :-)

wow, that's funny!
I like it!

I absolutely love this Kim!
The natural light coming in through the window is really great, this lighting is my favorite. The use of B&W is perfect for these two friends. Your title is perfectly fitting as well :D

on croirait que les chiens posent pour une nature morte! superbe!

Beautiful shot. It took some time to try to figure out who is who and where are the parts of each dog ;)
Lovely composition of this to adorable dogs in a very lazy situation. The soft light adds to the quite atmosphere.
Well done

What a great photo. Good subjects, good composition, great tonal range, and it made me smile to. Bill

The Pphot is a classic. I love the colors(b&W) and the way they have cuddled each other.

Lol! It's not serious and sad i agree! They are natural and no hypocrisy... Relax one on the other. Sharing confort, heat and... Just do nothing! That's perfect... They don't have our responsabilitys.. so Why not!

LOL!!! This is beautiful :-).
Excellent capture. Excellent sharpness and details.
Never a dull moment :-).

Great great photo! congratullations for poses, compo, b&w...great image! Fran
