Again this picture was taken from a very special trip for me to western part of Canada. We arrived in Calgary (a very nice city) late at night, (around 3 am we were leaving Calgary) and the weather was too nice to pass up not to wonder the city, only a few people in sight majority of them were police. With no one in sight we took out a tripod and took some pictures around downtown of which is very clean and in immaculate condition. It was defiantly a very enjoyable photographic experience free of people and distractions I felt like we were in a big studio without the photographer but had an invaluable and trusty tripod. We had a great time.

PS: cropped slightly, leveled it and saved for web.

This is a very regal picture; very nice. I'm afraid you may have overexposed the image, though. The lights are very bright and the clock has had some of its detail blown out. Also, you clipped a little bit of the lamp to the left off, usually okay to clip things, but, all your other lamps are whole. However, your composition is still very good. To see the horse on the right side is a nice surprise. And, it adds more interest to what could have been "another architecture" shot. The texture from how the horse glows is a nice contrast to the texture of the building and its stone environment.
Good job. Thanks for sharing!

I love this night shot its very cool.
good composition and I like how you placed the horse in the foreground. good work in croping.

Very nice night shot Akim!
Sharpness is perfect
Well done Composition. The idea to put the horse in front is "geniale" ! ;o)

Very nice night-time shot. I really enjoy how you have placed the statue of the horse within the frame.

Unless I'm mistaken, it was 01:10 when you took this shot, Akim ;o). Being able to read the time from that lighted clock in a nightshot means your exposure, and the details you captured, are spot on. I agree with Bernard, putting the horse in the foreground was a brilliant idea. I love the glow on it, and the textures in the wall as well. Thanks for sharing (TFS).

Very nice that horse looking at the building while it would seem everybody is sleeping.
It's like arriving from another world.
The presence of the horse makes us feel that we are part of the picture.
Very well done.

Beautiful picture Akim, very nice composition.
Best regards
