Hi Seyfettin,
This is a very wise interpretation of Spring - colors, colors, flowers and flowers!!!
A fantastic artist's palette! Wonderful colorful environment.
Good lighting and composition.
Well seen!
Best regards,

Ol Dr. Seyfettin,
I agree with Francis Xavier about this picture: a great interpretation of Spring, plenty of colours and lights.

In accord with "trampas". Is it a problem with your camera or a problem with the PP traitment ?
Best regards
Jean

Merhaba Seyfettin bey,
kahkaha 輅軻kleri değil mi?Bizim bah軻de de aıyorlar.Bir de beyaz renkleri var galiba.Ellerinize sağlık.Necla.

Hi Seyfettin

While it is generous of your friends to praise you for this work, I wonder at their motives. I think they want you to return the favour and praise their work, and that they have no interest in helping you improve your photography.

To me, that is not friendship. :(

You have made some photographs that I enjoy very much, but I think this is not so good.

There is a lack of sharpness in this image - partly due to slow shutter, I think, but also due to the focal point being "past" your subject (the flowers.) This is called 'back focus' and it means that the object in the fore, where the eyes naturally alight, is blurred - while the background is sharp.

Compositionally - although the uppermost flowers are in a 1/3rd "golden zone" of the frame, the lower flowers are visually stronger, and are the ones that should be placed in a golden zone.

Additionally, of the three upper flowers, one shows strong overexposure and resulting loss of detail, which really is not an acceptable error in qualified photography.

Finally, as a general rule, a subject that is "busy" (i.e. a lot of colours, details, edges and shapes) seldom works well if it fills the frame. Choosing your subject and angle so that a greater portion of the shot was empty uncluttered space would greatly improve this photo.

Please understand that I am not trying to trample your ego, but in honesty I believe that offering praise for this shot is an insult to your intelligence, and not what a genuine friend would do!

regards
Rew

In agreement with Trampas, Jean and Rewshearer.

Vastly overexposed, no detail, no sharpness - really just very poor and it is beyond me why certain Treklensers are praising this snapshot.

Hello Seyfettin,

I won稚 repeat the shortcomings some others TrekLens members already were so kind to point out to you. I think Rew痴 critique perfectly sums up my opinion, as well concerning 典rekLens friendship as concerning the technical aspects of this photo.

I just wanted to add that you seem to have recurrent problems with your colour balance: a kind of purple haze I already pointed out (http://www.treklens.com/viewphotos.php?l=3&p=535098) but that keeps coming back in your photos (in this case on the rocks). As it occurs so systematically, I think this might be due to your camera and, perhaps, to the fact that you to use the automatic mode (at least, I guess).

My suggestions:
- use the manual mode of your camera (if it has got one) and try to underexpose systematically (which is easier to fix in PP-work than overexposure, you will keep more detail),
- if you don稚 have a manual mode, systematically reduce the purple tones with a post-processing software (many free software available on the web).

Hope this helps

TFS & kind regards,
Erik

+1 to comments by Rew, Erik, and Trampas.

I also see camera shake, try a tripod next time.

I see colors, but it's more like a cacophony, rather than a symphony or melody.

Not to let you down, but sorry, it does not make the cut, as far as my book is concerned...

Ciao Seyfettin

I love your color palette here!
Skillful close-up work, and the result is admirable ...
DoF spot on isolates the subject well,
with sharp fine details in this nice flower!
Lovely for look at.

Have a nice weekend,

Sergio
